I was really impressed. The box looked slightly large, but don’t despair – it’s a good thing! The pushchair is completely set up in the box. All you have to do is add the wheels – which are a quick snap on – and attach the hood. There is a rain cover included (the amount of pushchairs I’ve had where I have had to purchase a rain cover separately is beyond believable!) and a bumper bar – which can be removed and replaced with a play tray which can be purchased separately. The Britax B-Motion 4 also has adapters, which will convert this pushchair to a travel system should that be required. I found the pushchair was really easy to assemble, although I did have a little trouble trying to figure out how to fold down the pushchair.
Out and About
The pushchair is really easy to push. It’s light, yet sturdy. I love that the handle bar is adjustable so depending on how tall (or short) you are you’re able to adjust the handle to suit you. The suspension gives it’s a smooth ride and it goes over rough terrain with ease.
The basket is a little in the small side of what I would like, but it’s a perfectly acceptable size. The large pocket at the back is also handy for putting little bits and pieces in.
The Britax B-Motion 4 reclines completely flat so great for nap times whilst baby (or toddler) still being safe with the 5 point harness.
The hood is huge! It has a top viewing panel, as well as expanding to reveal a clear through mesh that allows light in whilst still covering babies head.
The Britax B-Motion is a fab pushchair. It’s definitely one that you could buy for your newborn and keep all the way up to toddler-hood.
It’s easy to store and not overly bulky when folded. The wheels are easily remove able, should you want to compact it down just that bit more, although I don’t believe it is one hand fold as stated as you have to pull up a little button and pull a little handle on the base of the seat to fold – although, to be honest, this isn’t such a major issue for me.
It would be nice to have it parent facing as well as world facing, but not a major down score on this good-looking pushchair.
*Disclaimer – Kiddicare sent me a Britax b-Motion 4 to review. This is no way affects my opinion on this pushchair.
