Christmas Countdown

Now we have got Halloween out of the way it’s time to start organising Christmas.

I’m not usually a big fan of Christmas and tend to order presents/ go Christmas shopping rather late. But this year I am determined to be organised, buy from small businesses, make homemade where possible and be as thrifty as I can.

The last few months I have become addicted to Pinterest and have found some fab ideas on there to make a great Christmas, so I decided that over the next few weeks I’ll share them with you.

I have also decided that, even though its more of an American tradition rather than a British one, but I’m going to do “Elf on the Shelf” for the children. You can find out more about “Elf on the Shelf” {here}

I’m actually fairly looking forward to Christmas this year. We have decided to go out for Christmas lunch this year too which saves in cooking and washing up! We tend to have P’s Dad and Nan over but the house is now too small to cram us all in, so we thought it would be nice to go out.

Now I just need to figure out where we’re going to put the tree!!
