Even though I weighed myself on Monday morning like I always do, ready to write my update that evening, I just haven’t found the time!
I managed to get to the gym last week, but only once. However, I did do some walking on Friday. I have also just got back from the gym today too!
I know I really need to get myself in to gear. Get more motivated and actually make a plan of what I need to do and when – otherwise I will end up not doing it.
I have continued to eat healthy and have pretty much the same lunch every day. Yes, I know it can be a bit mundane, but at least I know that it is fairly healthy. I need to up my game a bit though.
Paul jokingly (or at least I
think hope it was) said that we should have a contest to see who could get a six-pack the quickest. Judging by my extremely flabby tummy right now, it more than likely would not be me! Paul, having lost over 3st since last summer, will probably get there before I do!
I am hoping to start some classes at the gym too, just to change things up a bit as it can get a bit boring just using the gym, especially on my own. The gym has a good variation of classes, which is good. There is a pilates class that I would like to take. I did a six-week pilates course just before I fell pregnant with Jake and it really helped me to tone up.
I am slowly getting better at my running, and managed to run half a mile in 5 minutes without the need to stop. That may not seem like a lot to some, but its a good achievement for me as I struggled to run for 2 minutes just a few weeks ago! I hope that the more I practice, the easier it will get!
I am turning 30 in just 11 weeks time and I would love to be down to a size 10 by then!! I have a fair way to go still!
