As the days and weeks go by I am finding it getting increasingly easier to eat more healthy foods and to avoid the junk. I can quite happily skip the crisps and biscuits and have the odd piece of chocolate, but I don’t really crave it anymore like I used to.
I am still sticking to my yoghurt and fruit for breakfast, sandwich for lunch and carrot sticks to snack on whist I am at work. I need to make sure that I continue it on Friday’s. I often find that I can get too busy doing things around the house that I will forget to eat.
Exercise wise, I still need to work out days that I can go and stick to it. There are two classes that I am quite interested in doing too at the moment so I think I will start doing those and then a general gym session during the week and then possibly a run at the weekend.
I am fairly pleased with my progress so far, even if it does feel really slow. I know that slow weight loss is the best way to be able to maintain it and keep it off – it’s just the impatience in me that wants it off yesterday! I know that I still have a long way to go yet, especially on my stomach and arms which feel and look rather flabby – I just need to keep working on them.
It is definitely helpng that I am taking photographs once a week so I can see the progress that I am making, so on the days where I am feeling like I am not doing well I can take a look at the pictures and see how far I have come already.
