Fat Mama Slim – Week Four

Week four of my Fat Mama Slim journey and I feel like a bit of a failure and seem to have plateaued.

Yet again no weight or inch loss – but then I also hadn’t managed to get to the gym or out for a run for the best part of the week. However, I have done a lot of walking nearly every day, so it hasn’t been all too bad I guess.

Now the warmer weather is here I am finding that it’s easier to eat healthily. Although I do find that I suffer with bad water retention in the Summer months from drinking all the time, which then makes me look and feel more bloated.

I am finding that exercising is really helping me in many ways, not just to get fitter and more healthy. I am finding that I am not as stressed as usual and my temper doesn’t fray as quick (sometimes!). I am starting to be more patient, but maybe that is because I am starting to slowly grow the confidence in myself. Something which I have never truly had.

I am a long long way from where I want to be. It is taking longer than I had hoped or planned and I often feel like I need to step it up a gear. I have a few things going on right now, but I need and want to take a step back and gain some more organisation in my life. To make more time for myself. To figure out where it is I want to be at, and what sort of person I want to be.

This is going to be a long journey…..but hopefully a worthwhile one!
