Fat Mama Slim – Week One

Eurgh! I really dislike my body sometimes! I hate the way it holds on to the fat for dear life. I hate the way that I often have the best intentions, but struggle to get the motivation or feel like I either don’t have encouragement or people automatically assume (and often correctly) that I will just fail – like I fail at everything else.

I really tried this week. I had the odd slip up, but over all I though I had been really good. I have been snacking on nuts and seeds, trying to cut back on the tea and drink more water. I haven’t had a fizzy drink for weeks! I have been cutting back on the crappy foods and trying to eat more veg and grilled chicken etc.

But I was rather disappointed when I stepped on the scales at saw that not much had changed.

I NEED to be hitting a loss of 2lbs per week to get to my target weight by the target date. At this rate, that will be impossible and that really upsets me. I NEED this weight t come off. It’s been on for far too long. I need to feel confident nd comfortable for the Skydive and that means being 40lbs lighter!

I am still trying to find a gym. I looked at the one at our local leisure centre last week, but wasn’t overly impressed with them. However, if I don’t find anything soon I am going to have to join them just so I can start exercising!

I did these to try to help me remain focused:

The Stats: 

  • Start Weight: 160lbs
  • Target Weight: 120lbs
  • Total Target Weight Loss: 40lbs
  • Start Waist Measurement: 39.4 inches
  • Week One: -1lbs
  • Week One Weight: 159lbs
  • Total Target Weight Loss: 39lbs

If you have any tips, recipes etc please share them with me! I need as much help as possible!
