Week Two of my Fat Mama Slim Journey – DONE!
The past week has been a tough week to exercise as we have been doing the Live Below the Line challenge, therefore food has been sparse.
I did attempt the gym once, but I felt so sick and faint after just 20 minutes that I had to stop. I managed to get out for a run on Saturday and again today.
I am not a natural runner and definitely not a road runner. I find it tough, but I am determined to complete the Couch to 5K. I am now on Week 4 and have completed Session 4 and I do feel better for it. The sessions are tough, but then it wouldn’t be any use if they were easy would it?
Apparently my pace is pretty good – although I feel like I am running like a snail, clearly I am not as slow as I feel!
I am a bit amazed by my overall inch loss this week – although I think most of it was due to the fact that last week I had a fair bit of water retention and bloating, therefore the inch loss may not have been correct.
Overall, I am pleased with my progress and I am finding myself actually thinking about running, and looking forward to getting out either running or to the gym. It gives me that little break that I need to unwind, chill out and refocus.
