As a kid we used to play a version of croquet with a little plastic set we had. Well, it was more along the lines of just whacking a ball with a long mallet type devise if I’m honest. We never really knew what we were doing.
I have seen croquet be played before and often wondered about the game and how it’s played.
I was contacted by Garden Games asking if we would like to review one of their croquet sets. We thought we’d give it a go as it’ll be a great game for all the family to get involved in.
We were sent the ‘Lawn Croquet’ and were very impressed. The set consists of:
4 Wooden children’s sized Croquet balls
4 Painted wooden mallets with fabric grips
6 Steel wickets
1 Painted wooden Winning Post
The set comes in its own zip fasten carry bag making it easy to carry if you were to take it out, and easy to store.
There are even instructions on how to play the game for beginners like us.
The set itself is very good quality and lightweight. It’s perfect for children (and adults).
In short, it’s a perfect addition to your family summer games! I can’t wait until the summer arrives and we can get proper use out of it! Can just picture us now having a picnic and a game of Croquet in the park!!
Disclaimer: We received the Lawn Croquet set for Free in return for this review.
