My Three Month Fitness Plan: Before

Here I am again. Talking about my need to get fit, and how I always fall off the wagon.

This time, I am getting back on the wagon and staying there. Yeah, I know. I’ve said that before too!

But this time it’s different.

Why?

I have enlisted the help of Bikini Athlete and Personal Trainer, Lucie Colt.

I have pondered an online training plan for a while. Paul had done one and I saw that it helped him. I find that my gym routine is rather sporadic and therefore I am not seeing any results. It also doesn’t help that I don’t actually know the best way to work out. I tend to go in the gym, have a run (anywhere from 1 – 3 miles), do some ab crunches, some weights and finish off on the bike or cross trainer. What I do is probably no where enough to get me toned and the weight shifted.

I came across Lucie on Twitter and liked what she was about. I took a look at her plans and liked that she had a 3 month one, and she did weekly check ins – so I wouldn’t feel like I had just been given a plan and left to my own devices. I know that someone is expecting me to send them an email every Friday with updated weight, pictures and how it’s going.

Lucie is also very active on social media too, which is great for me!

So, my plan starts TODAY!

I have my meal and exercise plan for the week and have weighed myself and taken my before pictures.

I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to share them on my blog. I felt so ashamed and embarrassed when Paul took them. I thought I would be judged and perhaps nasty comments be made. But then, after I had sent them to my sister, she reminded me that I have had four children. My body is bound to be a bit wobbly in places, and yes, I have gained a lot of weight for my small frame. But I can and will get it off – well as much as I can anyway!

So, I will share them. I want you guys to see the before me, and not just the finished ‘project’.

I will take you through my journey each week and share the weekly pictures with you too.

Don’t worry, I am not going to go all fitness and healthy on you – seriously, I like my cake too much! I just want to be able to shift the excess poundage and tone up. I’d love to have dropped two dress sizes for the summer!

    Good luck Rachel. i know you can do this! I was exactly 2 stone heavier than you are now last Nov. If I can do it anyone can. You really do not look as bad as you think you do! Infact you look great. x
