Personal Planner

Personal Planner – A Review

I have a confession. I am a stationary addict. I don’t know what it is, but there’s something about stationary that makes me want it. I’ve been like it since school.

I love the pretty notebooks, the gorgeous pencil cases, folders, the various colours and styles of pens and pencils and novelty erasers.

As I got older I needed diaries to keep track of things – I became addicted to those too. I can buy several a year just because I like the style of them.

When I attended BritMums a few months ago, everyone was given a notebook from the guys over at PersonalPlanner.co.uk.

Personal Planner

I love my notebook. It lives in my handbag. However, I didn’t realise that the little card inside it actually had a code on to get a free Personal Planner and I misplaced it.

However, the guys at Personal Planner came to my rescue when they sent me an email at the beginning of the summer asking if I had used my voucher. I explained the situation and they kindly gave me another voucher to get a free planner.

The thing I love about Personal Planner is that you can have the planner to suit you! You can have it personalised on the front using one of your own pictures – or use one of their designs. You can also choose the colour of the strap and ruler, the layout, whether you want it lined or not, what lists or little things you want on the pages, and then you can decide on extra pages too. Lines, squares, puzzles, colouring, music pages. They even do special pages for if you are a teacher!

Being a small business owner and wanting to expand my business next year I decided to go for a 2014 diary with a ‘ Top Secret’ design.

On the inside, I personalised my little first page. Personal Planner

I decided that I would have the top half of the day with “Appointment Times” and the second half lined. At the bottom of my pages I have my ‘To Do This Week’ box with little tick boxes, a little notes section, a ‘List of the Week’ and a miniature monthly calendar.

Once the year is over I have an Overview of 2015 and 2016 – which also has spaces to write in any future appointments/events etc. Personal Planner

I then have 10 colouring pages – for when I the kids get bored. Personal Planner

And to finish off, I have 20 pages of squared and 20 pages of lined paper to put all my notes/idea/doodles etc.

I am really pleased with my diary – so much so that I am really considering ordering another planner for the Academic Year of 2013/2014.

*Disclaimer – I was given the voucher free due to being an attendee at BritMums Live. My view of Personal Planner.co.uk is my own.
