Review: Adidas Questar from

This year I am on a mission to get fit and lose about 40lbs.

I joined a gym a few months ago and have so far lost 11lbs! However, my gym kit is in some serious need of updating – especially my exceedingly old trainers which are nearing the end of their days!

Because I run, both at the gym and out on the road, I wanted some trainers which were going to be easy to transition between the two different surfaces whilst keeping my feet comfortable. However, I had been put off by buying new trainers because the ones I had seen were rather expensive and as most mums, I um and ah about it and try to justify the cost, and then still end up not treating myself.

So, when asked me if I would like to try out some new trainers, I was so delighted! I was allowed to pick a pair from their website, which has such a vast array of sport shoes, clothes and equipment and low prices, that it really was hard to decide which pair would be best.

In the end I settled on a gorgeous pair of pink Adidas Questar Cushion 2 running trainers. I selected these trainers because they are designed with ADIPRENE® heel cushioning and TORSION® midfoot support which means that the trainers offer excellent damage resistance, added strength and support and the trainers should last longer. The upper part of the trainer is mesh, which meant that because they are ventilated, feet remain cool, dry, comfortable and able to breathe which should hopefully stop smelly shoes and sweaty feet (eurgh!).  There are also reflectors on the trainers, so ideal for road running as they will make you visible in low light.

I have used these trainers several times now and they are so comfortable. In my old one, after a while of running or working out,  I used to get foot cramp where it felt like my foot wasn’t positioned properly in the trainer. I don’t get anything like that in the Adidas Questar. The cushion sole really helps keep my feet well positioned and comfortable.

The Adidas Questar 2 Cushion running trainers are available to buy for just £39.99 (RRP £64.99), which means you have a great saving of 38% and because they are committed to making their customers happy and having a healthier and positive life through sport, brings you products from the best and biggest sports brands at low prices – so why not check them out!
