SnoozeShade: A Review

Snoozeshade

I was recently asked if I would like to review a SnoozeShade. It’s something I have looked at for a while and been contemplating getting one for Zachary for naps when out.

So what is a SnoozeShade?

Well, I literally just thought that it was a piece of material that fits over the pushchair which will then allow baby to sleep soundly underneath. But it’s oh so much more than that.

There are several different types of SnoozeShade including a Twin version.

I was sent the SnoozeShade Plus Deluxe to try out, which acts a sunshade and has one of the highest levels of sun protection of any product currently on the market. It also has a large mesh window which allow baby to look out of the pushchair and be shaded from 80% of UV rays.

Now I know what you’re thinking, we’re in winter – what do I need a sunshade for – but I have found that having the mesh up also acts a wind breaker and stops a lot of the wind blowing in baby’s face when out and about.

The Snoozeshade Plus Deluxe also has a ‘snooze panel’ to create shade and seclusion which will help baby to settle to sleep, and allow them to sleep without being woken by outside noise. It also keeps them snug and warm inside!

Our Thoughts

I wish these were around when I had my first child! I seriously do! He was notorious for not sleeping and then when out we would just get him settle and he’d be woken by a loud noise. We have been trying this out for a month or so now and it lives on the pushchair! It’s great for when Zachary get’s tired, I just zip it up so he can’t see anything and within seconds he is asleep – or if I transfer him from car seat to pushchair when asleep, I zip it up real quick and he stays asleep. It also keeps him snug and warm inside.

I would recommend the SnoozeShade to anyone with a baby in a pushchair. Not only will it last from Newborn until they outgrow the pushchair, it fits most pushchairs, but it’s ideal for any type of outing – be it a visit to the shops or a holiday! There is no need to mess about with those umbrella’s that you have to clip on to the side of the pushchair that get in the way, or break off where they have been wiggled too much. The SnoozeShade literally just fits over the pushchair, a few snaps of a clip and voila. And the panel’s, even fit snuggly in a little secret pouch at the bottom so they don’t get dirty and drag along the floor when not in use.

What more could you want?
