Tickety Toc Toy Launch

Last weekend Toddler and I went to the Tickety Toc Toy Launch at Hamleys.

For those who don’t know what Tickety Toc is, it’s a pre-school TV show on Nick Jr and Channel 5’s Milkshake about the adventures of twins Tommy and Tallulah who race against time to keep the Tickety Toc Clock ticking.

When we arrived at Hamleys we collected our special VIP Toy Tester passes and headed to the top floor.

There we were met by Tommy and Tallulah, as well as Channel 5 Milkshake presenters Olivia and Kemi who sang lots of songs. It was great watching all the children (and some parents) get involved with dancing and singing along.

Also at the event were a few celebrities including Tamzin Outhwaite and her 3 children, Denise van Outen, her husband Lee Mead and their daughter (both Tamzin and Denise are just as beautiful in real life as they are on TV!), Kate Garraway with her 2 children, Laila Rouass with her daughter and even John Sergeant was their with his granddaughters!

After some singing and dancing, which Toddler enjoyed even though she didn’t quite know the actions, we were split in to 3 groups. We headed off to do a bit of toy testing in the secret toy test room first.

Toddler loves playing and she was super excited to play with all the new toys. The new collection of toys, available  from 27 July at Argos, The Entertainer, Smyths, Amazon & all good toy shops.

The new collection of toys are suitable for 18months+ and the range includes talking soft toys of  Tommy and Tallulah (RRP £14.99 each), a musical Pufferty Train (RRP £22.99), a Clockhouse Playset (RRP £29.99) and small Tommy and Tallulah plus toys (RRP £6.99 each).

Toddler loved the Talking Tommy and Tallulah and musical Pufferty Train, and with her 3rd birthday coming up in October, I now have some inspiration for gift ideas!

After a play around, we moved on to do some crafts. Toddler decorated some hearts and made her very own Teeny Bopper headband! With her headband on her head, we went and listened to a Tickety Toc story, before heading back up to see Olivia and Kemi perform a little bit more.

Toddler was given a little goodie bag containing Tickety Toc Books, a few magazines and a Tallulah plus toy! Little Tallulah has not left her side since and goes everywhere with us – now to get Baby a Tommy so we have the pair 🙂

We really enjoyed being VIP Toy Testers. Thank you for inviting us and for a great day out ….. I think Toddler enjoyed it 🙂
