Walls Blender Review

walls blender

To celebrate the launch of the new Home Categories, Rakuten’s Play.com wants to know your reasons to shop in their new #ReasonsToShop campaign.

This new category has a vast array of products ranging from Homewares and Furniture  to DIY and Garden.

I was asked by Rakuten’s Play.com if I would like to choose a gift from their Home Category to celebrate their new campaign. I opted for this lovely Walls Blender in cream.

This fantastic blender has a powerful 500w motor which means it can blend large quantities easily. Two different speeds as well as a pulse option allow you to blend it as smooth or as thick as you like. The jug is large at 1.5l capacity and has ice crushing blades – making it great for smoothies and milkshakes (or a soup if you fancy it!)! The base is made from stainless steel and has non-slip feet which make the blender extremely sturdy.

Walls Blender

I was quite surprised when it arrived to find that the jug is quite thick glass! I was expecting plastic, so glass was a nice surprise. It also makes the blender feel more sturdy and that it will last a while. I love the colour and style too, very vintage chic!

The parts are easy to put together and take apart to clean and the blender truly is great quality.

Walls Blender

I got to work straight away making a lovely smoothie for us!

I put frozen berries, vanilla ice cream and ice cubes in to the jug and blended until all smooth – although being a completely blender newbie, I made a rookie error and put the ice in last! This meant that I had to do a fair bit of shaking the jug to get all the ice to the bottom, but I got there in the end and will remember for next time!

walls blender

Apart from my silly error, the smoothie was delicious and so simple to make!

The Wall’s Blender retails at £49.99 on Play.com and comes in either Cream or Blue.
