Hello, friends! Welcome to Rach’s Place, where you can find all sorts of amazing homemade, handmade, homegrown goodness! I'm Rach and I am the lucky wife of a wonderful husband, mother of four amazing children, an architect by degree, and a baker, maker, and creator by passion. In recent years, my husband and I have also been creating our little suburban homestead haven and I’ve been homeschooling our two youngest kiddos. Our crazy beautiful life tests me, teaches me, and inspires me, pushing me to grow a little more each and every day!

For years, I have created, crafted, and baked simply for the joy of doing it. I’ve spent countless hours learning from grandparents, parents, and friends on similar walks of life how to care for my home, my family, live the homestead lifestyle, and homeschool my kids, and I have found so much joy and such a sense of accomplishment in all of it!

I’ve also been told over the years that I should choose a career path that brings me the most happiness and when my original career that was putting my architecture degree to use began to crumble, and the early happiness I felt in that career faded almost completely away, I realized it was time to create my own happy place and become my own boss doing the things I love doing the most.

So, I created Rach’s Place! Here, you will find homemade baked goods, custom confections, handmade crafty creations, and homegrown homesteading and homeschooling goodness too! It’s an eclectic collection of all the things that bring me joy, and I can’t wait to share that joy with you!
