Rach’s Place may offer downloadable and digital products including homeschool and educational resources, printables, activity materials, guides, planners, reference materials, templates, patterns, instructional resources, and other electronically delivered products.
These Digital Product & Resource Policies explain how digital purchases may be accessed, printed, used, shared, and reproduced.
Unless a specific product listing or license states otherwise, these policies apply to all digital products purchased or downloaded from Rach’s Place.
By purchasing, downloading, or accessing a digital product, you agree to the license and terms applicable to that product.
Digital vs. Physical Products
Please read each product listing carefully before purchasing.
A product may be:
A physical product
A digital product
A combination of physical and digital materials
Products identified as digital downloads, printable resources, electronic files, or similar descriptions do not include a physical item unless the listing specifically states otherwise.
No printed materials will be mailed for a digital-only purchase.
Customers are responsible for confirming the product format before completing their purchase.
Digital Delivery
Digital products may be delivered through:
A download link
An order confirmation
Email
A customer account
Another electronic delivery method identified at the time of purchase
Delivery method may vary depending on the product and website platform.
Accessing Your Files
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate email address and other information required to receive their purchase.
If you do not receive or cannot locate your digital product:
Check your email inbox and spam or junk folders when applicable.
Review your order confirmation or customer account for available download links.
Confirm that the email address used for the order was entered correctly.
Contact Rach’s Place if you still cannot access your purchase.
We will make reasonable efforts to help resolve legitimate delivery or download problems.
Download & File Storage
Customers are strongly encouraged to download and save purchased files promptly.
Unless specifically promised in a product listing, purchase of a digital product does not guarantee permanent or lifetime access to an online download link, customer account, hosting platform, or cloud-based file.
Websites, platforms, technology, and file-delivery systems may change over time.
Once a file has been successfully delivered or downloaded, the customer is responsible for keeping an appropriate personal backup.
Rach’s Place cannot guarantee replacement of files indefinitely after purchase, although we will make reasonable efforts to assist when possible.
File Formats & Technical Requirements
Digital product listings will identify relevant file formats or technical requirements when appropriate.
Formats may include, for example:
PDF
JPG or PNG
ZIP files
Editable documents
Other common digital formats
Customers are responsible for having reasonably compatible:
Devices
Software or applications
Internet access
Printers, when printing is desired
File-storage capacity
Free software may sometimes be available for common file types, but Rach’s Place does not guarantee compatibility with every device, operating system, application, printer, or third-party service.
Please review listed technical requirements before purchasing.
Technical Support
Rach’s Place will make reasonable efforts to assist with problems involving:
Missing files
Incorrect files
Corrupted files
Broken download access
Other problems originating with the product or delivery provided by Rach’s Place
Technical support does not generally include troubleshooting:
Individual computers or mobile devices
Home networks
Printers
Ink or toner
Third-party software
Operating systems
File-management systems
Unrelated technology problems
If a file supplied by Rach’s Place is genuinely defective or unusable, please contact us so we can attempt to correct the problem.
DIGITAL PRODUCT LICENSE
Purchasing a digital product gives the purchaser permission to use that product according to the license provided.
Purchase does not transfer copyright ownership of the digital product or its contents.
Unless a product listing specifically grants broader rights, all copyrights and other applicable intellectual-property rights in original Rach’s Place materials remain with Rach’s Place and/or the respective rights holders of any properly licensed third-party content.
Standard Household & Personal-Use License
Unless otherwise stated, the Standard Household & Personal-Use License is the default license included with a Rach’s Place digital product.
Under this license, the purchaser may use the resource:
For their own personal use
Within their own immediate household
With their own children or dependents
As part of their family homeschool
On personally owned or household devices
In printed form as reasonably needed for members of their own household
For homeschool resources, one purchase may be used with multiple children within the purchaser’s own household.
You do not need to purchase a separate copy for each child in your family.
You May
Under the Standard Household & Personal-Use License, you may:
Download and save a personal copy of the file.
Maintain reasonable backup copies for your own use.
Print copies reasonably needed for yourself and children within your household.
Reprint consumable worksheets or activity pages as needed for additional children within your household.
Display the resource on household devices for your family’s educational use.
Organize pages into binders or other personal-use formats.
Adjust the order, pacing, schedule, or selection of lessons to fit your family.
Make reasonable accessibility modifications for licensed users within your household, such as enlarging print or adapting materials for accessibility needs, provided the modified version is not redistributed.
Share photographs of your family using or completing the resource, provided the photographs do not reproduce enough of the resource to serve as a substitute for purchasing it.
What the Standard License Does Not Cover
A standard household purchase does not give permission to share the resource with:
Friends
Extended family in other households
Other homeschool families
Homeschool co-ops
Schools
Classrooms
Daycare programs
Tutors using it with multiple families
Clubs
Churches or religious organizations
Libraries
Community groups
Businesses
Other organizations
unless the applicable product listing or a separately purchased license specifically permits that use.
Each separate household generally needs its own licensed copy.
EDUCATOR, CLASSROOM & GROUP USE
Rach’s Place may offer expanded-use licenses for certain educational resources.
Not every product will necessarily be available with every license type.
The product listing or purchased license will identify the permitted use.
Single Educator or Classroom License
When specifically offered and purchased, a Single Educator or Classroom License generally permits one individual educator to use the resource with students they personally and directly teach.
Depending on the product, this may include use by:
One classroom teacher
One private tutor
One homeschool co-op instructor
One small-group instructor
One daycare or educational instructor
The license belongs to the purchasing educator and is not automatically licensed to the entire school, co-op, business, or organization.
Unless otherwise stated, a Single Educator or Classroom License does not permit:
Sharing the digital file with other teachers or instructors
Placing the file in a schoolwide shared drive
Uploading it to an unrestricted organizational resource library
Allowing other classrooms or groups to reproduce it
Sharing it with student families for independent reuse outside the licensed class
Organization-wide use
Additional educators or groups may need their own license.
Co-op, School or Organization Licenses
Some resources may be available with broader licenses for:
Homeschool co-ops
Schools
Multiple educators
Clubs
Daycare or childcare programs
Community programs
Other organizations
These rights apply only when specifically stated in the product listing or purchased license.
The number of permitted users, classrooms, educators, households, or locations may be limited by the applicable license.
Please contact Rach’s Place if you are interested in using a resource beyond the scope of the license offered with the product.
PRINTING RIGHTS
Unless otherwise stated, licensed purchasers may print reasonable copies needed for their permitted use.
For example:
Household License
You may print copies needed for yourself and children within your household.
Educator or Group License
You may print copies for the students or participants covered by the specific license you purchased.
Printing permission does not grant permission to reproduce copies for people outside the licensed group.
Professional Print Shops
You may use a local or online print shop to print a digital resource for your own licensed use.
You may provide the file to the printer only as reasonably necessary to complete your printing order.
Providing a file to a printing service does not give the printer permission to:
Retain the file for unrelated use
Resell it
Redistribute it
Offer it to other customers
Customers should use reputable printing services and request appropriate handling of copyrighted files.
Printing Differences
Printed results may vary depending on:
Printer
Paper
Ink or toner
Print settings
Scaling
Screen settings
Color calibration
Colors viewed on a screen may not exactly match printed colors.
Minor printing differences caused by individual equipment or settings are not considered defects in the digital product.
SHARING & REDISTRIBUTION
Unless expressly authorized by the applicable license, digital products may not be shared or redistributed.
This includes sharing by:
Email
Text or messaging apps
USB drives
File-sharing websites
Cloud-storage links
Shared drives
Social media
Online groups
Forums
Learning-management systems accessible beyond licensed users
Websites
Blogs
Digital marketplaces
Any other method that allows unlicensed individuals to access the resource
Purchasing one copy does not permit distribution to multiple households simply because the original purchaser is not charging for the copies.
Free sharing is still redistribution.
Please direct interested friends, families, or educators to purchase their own authorized copy or appropriate license.
Public Posting
Digital files, worksheets, answer keys, lesson pages, printable materials, or other substantial portions of a resource may not be publicly posted online in a form that allows others to read, save, reproduce, download, or use them instead of purchasing an authorized copy.
This includes posting to:
Public websites
Blogs
Social media
Pinterest or similar platforms
Public Google Drive or cloud folders
Facebook groups
Online homeschool groups
Teacher-sharing sites
File-sharing services
You are welcome to share your experience using a resource, including photographs of your family’s or students’ completed activities, as long as the copyrighted resource itself is not reproduced in a usable or substantially complete form.
RESALE & COMMERCIAL USE
Unless a product specifically includes a commercial-use license, Rach’s Place digital products are not licensed for resale or commercial redistribution.
You may not:
Resell the original digital file
Sell printed copies of the resource
Redistribute the resource as part of another product
Include the file in a paid membership or subscription
Upload it to a print-on-demand service for resale
Rebrand it as your own
Claim authorship or ownership of Rach’s Place content
Sell substantially copied or reproduced versions
Use the protected content to create a directly competing reproduction for sale
Any commercial-use rights must be expressly granted in writing or in the applicable product license.
Finished Items Made From Patterns or Projects
Some Rach’s Place products may include:
Patterns
Craft instructions
Project plans
Templates
Recipes
Other instructional resources
Permission to sell finished physical items made using a resource, if allowed, will be stated in the individual product listing or license when applicable.
Do not assume that commercial production rights are included unless they are expressly stated.
EDITABLE FILES & MODIFICATIONS
Some digital products may be provided in an editable or customizable format.
When editing is permitted, the purchaser may modify the file for their own licensed use as described in the product listing.
Editing a file does not transfer copyright ownership and does not create permission to:
Resell the edited file
Redistribute it
Claim the original design or content as your own
Turn it into a competing digital product
Share modified copies outside the permitted license
Unless specifically authorized, modifications are for the purchaser’s licensed personal, household, classroom, or organizational use only.
THIRD-PARTY CONTENT
Some Rach’s Place resources may reference or incorporate properly licensed third-party materials such as:
Fonts
Graphics
Illustrations
Photographs
Books
Websites
Videos
External resources
Other copyrighted works
Rights to third-party materials remain with their respective owners.
Purchase of a Rach’s Place resource does not grant permission to extract, redistribute, resell, or separately reuse third-party elements beyond the rights included with the finished Rach’s Place product.
Recommended Books & External Resources
A curriculum or educational resource may recommend books, websites, videos, supplies, or other materials that are not included with the purchase.
Unless a listing specifically states otherwise:
Recommended books are purchased or borrowed separately.
Third-party subscriptions or memberships are not included.
Internet access may be required for linked online resources.
External websites are controlled by their respective owners and may change over time.
Rach’s Place does not control the continued availability, pricing, content, or policies of independent third-party resources.
COPYRIGHT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Original Rach’s Place digital products, including their original written content, illustrations, layouts, educational materials, worksheets, photographs, graphics, and other protectable creative content, are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except for the limited license granted with purchase, all applicable rights are reserved.
Purchase does not grant permission to:
Reproduce the resource beyond licensed use
Distribute unauthorized copies
Create and distribute unauthorized adaptations
Publicly post substantial protected content
Remove copyright or ownership notices
Represent Rach’s Place materials as your own work
Copyright notices, credits, watermarks, trademarks, and other ownership information should not be intentionally removed when distributing or displaying material in any situation where distribution or display is authorized.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, DATASETS & AUTOMATED CONTENT SYSTEMS
Unless expressly authorized in writing, Rach’s Place digital products may not be uploaded, submitted, or supplied in whole or substantial part for the purpose of:
Training an artificial-intelligence model
Building a commercial dataset
Creating a public content library
Generating competing derivative resources for redistribution or sale
Automated scraping, harvesting, or mass reproduction
This restriction does not prohibit reasonable private use of accessibility tools or ordinary software functions necessary to use a purchased resource, provided the resource is not redistributed or used outside the applicable license.
DIGITAL PRODUCT REFUNDS
Because digital products cannot be physically returned once delivered or accessed, digital purchases are generally final sale after the file has been successfully delivered, downloaded, or accessed.
Refunds are generally not provided because:
The customer changed their mind
The customer no longer needs the resource
The customer purchased the wrong format despite the format being accurately described
The customer does not have compatible software or equipment when requirements were disclosed
The customer does not have access to a printer
The customer does not like the printing results produced by their equipment
The customer failed to download or save the file while access was available
The customer expected content or features not described in the listing
Please review product descriptions, preview images, file formats, license terms, and technical requirements carefully before purchasing.
Problems With a Digital Purchase
Final sale does not mean we will ignore a genuine problem.
Please contact Rach’s Place if:
You received the wrong file
A file is corrupted
A download link does not work
A required file is missing
You accidentally purchased the exact same digital product more than once in the same transaction or under circumstances that can reasonably be verified
The product materially differs from its description
Another legitimate technical problem prevents reasonable use of the purchased product
Rach’s Place will first make reasonable efforts to correct the problem by providing technical assistance, correcting the file, or supplying a replacement download when appropriate.
When a genuine problem cannot reasonably be corrected, an appropriate refund or other resolution may be considered.
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
ORDER CANCELLATION
A digital order may sometimes be cancelled before the digital product has been delivered or made accessible.
Once a file has been delivered, downloaded, accessed, or otherwise made available for use, the order is generally no longer eligible for ordinary cancellation.
Automated or immediate digital delivery may occur very quickly after purchase, so cancellation may not always be possible.
PRODUCT UPDATES, CORRECTIONS & NEW EDITIONS
Rach’s Place may occasionally:
Correct typographical errors
Fix broken links
Clarify instructions
Update information
Revise formatting
Improve a resource
Release a substantially updated edition
A purchase generally includes the version offered at the time of purchase.
Unless specifically promised, purchase does not guarantee:
Lifetime updates
Every future edition
Permanent access to revised files
Free access to substantially expanded or redesigned versions
Minor corrections or replacement files may be provided to previous purchasers when practical, but substantially revised or expanded editions may be sold as separate products.
EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
Rach’s Place educational and homeschool resources are designed to support learning and provide families or educators with useful tools and ideas.
They are not intended to guarantee any particular:
Academic result
Test score
Grade level
Learning outcome
Developmental outcome
Legal compliance
Accreditation
Parents, guardians, teachers, and other educators remain responsible for determining:
Whether a resource is appropriate for their learner
How and when it should be used
Whether modifications or additional instruction are needed
Whether it meets applicable homeschool, school, program, or legal requirements
Educational needs and laws vary by learner and location.

Children develop and learn at different rates.
Parents and educators should use their own judgment when deciding whether a resource is suitable for an individual learner.
ANSWER KEYS & TEACHER MATERIALS

Solutions
Assessments
Instructor materials
are subject to the same license restrictions as the rest of the product.
These materials should not be publicly posted or shared in a way that compromises the educational use of the resource or gives unlicensed users access to protected content.
USER RESPONSIBILITY
The purchaser is responsible for:
Reading the product description before purchase
Selecting the correct product and license
Providing accurate contact information
Downloading and saving files
Maintaining personal backups
Using compatible devices and software
Following printing instructions where applicable
Using the product within the permitted license
Supervising children appropriately during activities
Determining whether activities, tools, materials, or instructions are appropriate for the intended users
Activities involving tools, heat, food, plants, outdoor environments, crafts, household skills, or other hands-on learning should be supervised according to the age, ability, and needs of the learner.
POLICY VIOLATIONS
Unauthorized copying, sharing, resale, redistribution, or other use outside the applicable license may result in termination of the license to use the resource and may violate applicable intellectual-property rights.
Rach’s Place reserves the right to take reasonable action to protect its copyrighted materials and other intellectual property.
Where appropriate, we would much rather help a customer obtain the correct license than create unnecessary conflict, so please contact Rach’s Place if you are unsure whether your intended use is permitted.
