The Craft Room is rarely the neatest space in our home. There are usually fabric scraps on the table, yarn tucked into baskets, half-finished projects waiting their turn, and supplies that somehow spread farther than I intended. It may be a little messy, but it is also where imagination begins turning into something I can hold in my hands.
I have always enjoyed learning how things are made and trying new ways to create them myself. Sometimes I begin with a clear plan, while other projects seem to change direction several times before they are finished. Sewing, crochet, wreath-making, handmade décor, and all the little experiments in between each offer a different way to solve problems, learn new skills, and create something both useful and personal.
Around The Craft Room, I’ll share the projects I am making, the tools and materials I use, the techniques I learn, and the occasional mistakes that become part of the process. Pull up a chair at the worktable, sort through the supplies with me, and see what new idea is beginning to take shape.
