The Homeschool

Class is in session! Homeschool has become one of the most meaningful parts of our family life.  We came into it after experiencing public school with our older two kids, a wonderful private Montessori Farm School with our younger two, and distance learning during the pandemic. Our path here was not exactly planned, but once we began, we discovered how well the flexibility and the connection of learning at home fit our family. 

We jumped into homeschooling with both feet in the fall of 2022, and our homeschool has continued to grow right alongside our boys.  We homeschool year-round, adapt learning to two different ages and personalities, and make room for books, projects, life skills, nature, homestead learning, outside activities, and all of the unexpected rabbit trails that make learning interesting. 

Our homeschool is ever evolving as our children grow and our family changes.  Around The Homeschool, I'll share the planning, resources, books, activities, and lessons that help shape our days - not as a picture of one perfect way to homeschool, but as an honest look at what we are learning and building together.
